Sarah Emefa
The Face of MMKids
Face of MMKids
Vocals
Joined 2023
Sarah joined Messiah Music School in 2023 as a vocalist. She came without a standout gift and
struggled to hold her keys, but she took every challenge, made her mistakes and never gave up.
She grew into one of the most versatile voices MMKids has had. She can rap, lead a song,
sing in parts and take on patois songs. Her energy fills a room, and songs like
“You Dey Feel the Vibe”, “Jah Lovin” and Queen Omega’s
“Black Woman” get the crowd dancing. No one handles these songs the way she does,
and her peers always try to match her energy.

Divine Donkor
The Drummer Who Plays Like a Pro
Plays like a pro
Drums
MMKids drummer since 2023
Divine’s love for the drums began long before MMKids. As a very young child he drummed on
any object he could find and visited churches just to try the drums. He improved like a pro in
2021 and became the MMKids drummer in 2023.
Close your eyes and you would think a seasoned adult was playing. He talks to the drum, moves
from simple beats to complicated ones, handles jazzy songs and plays hard. He is highly
creative, needs very little teaching and is always on point and well disciplined.

Keren Owusu Yeboah
The Voice of the Future
Star of the future
Vocals
Joined 2024
Keren joined MMKids in 2024 as a shy child who didn’t yet know she carried one of the
greatest voices the school has heard. At first she only wanted to sing English songs. Then she
realised a real singer must be versatile, and she took on harder challenges, including songs in
local languages like Twi and Ewe.
Today, when Keren steps on stage, the room pays attention. Her voice is powerful, clean and
impossible to ignore. Humble and hard-working, she will always be welcome whenever she walks
through the door.

Kelvin Williams
The Drummer with Special Control
Unique drum control
Drums
MMKids 2024–2026
Kelvin was born into music. His father is one of the best lead guitarists around and plays many
instruments, and his brothers are all instrumentalists. Even so, he joined MMKids in 2024 to be
nurtured by another hand, learning to play with discipline and maturity.
His control of the drum was unique. He could play one complicated pattern on the kick, another
on the snare and another on the hi-hats or cymbal. He had his own special style and sounded so
professional that you might never have guessed he was a kid. Kelvin is now in SHS boarding
(2026–2029), and MMKids wishes him the best.
Kelvin Tetteh
The Bass Legend in the Making
Record-fast improvement
Bass guitar
Joined 2024
Kelvin joined Messiah Music School in 2024 as a drum student with no idea how to play. Along the
way he discovered he preferred the bass guitar, and that choice changed everything. After just
one year he was challenging his own teachers and needed no assistance.
We did not know we had a bass legend among us all along. Any church would be glad to have him
because of his skillful fingers, and no one should be deceived by his age. He is one of the
students who set a record for improving so fast. Kelvin is in SHS boarding and will complete
in 2029.
Jemimah Agbogba
The Keyboardist Who Proved a Girl Can Play
Flawless accompanist
Keyboard & piano
Joined 2023
Jemimah joined in 2023 as a keyboardist and proved to everyone that a girl can play the piano.
She is very smart and accompanies songs well, without mistakes.
She understands everything her teachers instruct and teach, and she went on to help other MMKids
piano students, who now play so well in MMKids and in churches. She is now in school and will
complete in 2029.

Abigail Oduro
The Singer with Her Own Song
Own original song
Vocals & harmony
Joined late 2024
Abigail joined MMKids in late 2024 and has grown into a very talented singer. She has her own
original song, recorded in the studio and celebrated with a launch. She also challenged herself
to sing Yoruba and Spanish songs as part of the MMKids selections.
Her strength is harmony. She sings backing in tenor or alto and makes most MMKids performances
sound good, and she does not need to be taught either part. Dancing is another of her hobbies,
and she dances alongside her singing whenever it is needed.
